Last night, my oldest son overheard me talking on the phone with someone about my upcoming shows in the Pacific Northwest. He got teary-eyed. It's never easy for him when I leave and it honestly leaves me with such a sick feeling in my gut to know that he struggles with that. It's always the saying goodbye that's the hardest part. However, it's interesting to hear from my husband that this particular son does just fine when I'm gone and only gets emotional when I come back. And I would say that according to this video clip below, no one is having a terrible time while I'm gone:
(My husband takes a ride down the conveyor belt at hid dad's warehouse; something our family likes to do in our free time).
I'm looking forward to seeing many of you at these shows! If you have family and friends in the PNW, be sure to let them know I'm coming :-)
3/29: Portland, OR
3/30: Olympia, WA
4/1: Yakima, WA
Also, I think it would be great fun to set up a house concert in Seattle on 3/31 because I happen to have that night off. Send me an email if you're interested in hosting a fun music-filled evening for your family and friends! firstname.lastname@example.org
