Good Morning, Oregon!

This morning, me and my awesome bedhead awoke to the yummy smell of rain in Hood River, Oregon (about an hour outside of Portland). I went to my hotel window and opened it, letting the cool air hit my face trough the screen.

The view reminds me of the picture I saw from my bedroom window when I lived on the north coast of California as a child. I love this landscape. It feels so familiar. I'm off to discover the old town of Hood River, but I'm looking forward to seeing many of you at the Venetian Theater tonight! (I promise I'll comb my hair).
If you still need to get tickets, you can do that right HERE.

  1. Wish I could be there :) My cousin is going though- I'm so jealous!

  2. that is some fantastic beadhead! i wish you could come perform in Atlanta sometime!!

  3. I get that exact same bedhead with my short hair. And nothing but washing it will cure the craziness. In the back of my mind I am always nervous that some midnight emergency might take me into the public eye with my cockatiel hair. Ha!

  4. Great concert tonight! My daughter and I rushed in the door and straight to the piano to play Anchor. Thanks!

  5. hope your show was breathtaking! i LOVE hood river. :) used to go there a lot with my dad.

just watched the video for whole wide world, and i'm in awe. have been looking forward to it for so long, and you did not disappoint!
it was an added bonus to recognize a few of my favorite people in there as well, including you of course. it's a keeper for sure. thanks for bringing further life to one of your best songs!

  6. Well you can be quite sure that Humboldt is expectedly rainy and green right about now. And that rain would welcome you back down here any time you like :)

  7. I SOOO WISH I WAS THERE!!! I love Oregon and I love your music!! Good luck and have fun! I hope to get to see you when you are in UT. :)

  8. Even your bedhead looks cool!

  9. Gahhhhh....
I think I am supposed to live in Hood River.
I think Im supposed to have a neighborhood bakery/cafe.
And my job is to be in the HUGE, round, comfy chair and a half plus a half in the corner and talk to people. Have conversations.
    Anywho...I LOVE HOOD RIVER!!!!
